Longing for Love
Longing for Love
A soft soul trapped inside the forest of darkness,
Chasing every ray of light that could reach its eyes
Trying to find a way out, running in circles the soul
Cries; cause there’s no sign that justifies all the misery
That lies within the soul.
As the soul goes on and on, it always finds something
That it thinks would last long instead it ends up alone
with the ghoul; though the ghoul keeps chanting it’s
Incantation, the soul keeps on going carrying the toll
Laid by the darkness, inside oneself.
The soul tries to catch the only glimpse of light that could
Take it home, as it stretches to capture it the ghoul creeps in
And makes it like stone, the soul stands there unable to move,
It mourns it’s life that has no purpose at all, but still it fights the
Ghoul, wandering in the darkness hoping to find another soul
That would last long always by its side, carrying the toll that has laid
By the ghoul.
