Darkness

You think you know me,

But do you really? 

Do you see the tears in my eyes?

The pain that lies there from the past?

Do you even care?

I have darkness inside of me

I feel like I am dead inside.

But you know me right

Can you feel what I feel?

Can you see the darkness? 

Is there light out there? 

My pain is hard to get rid of

Hard to leave behind, it is my baggage.

My burden to carry.

You say you can change, you do this to yourself.

Well, that is where you are wrong...

My past will forever haunt me.

I can't run, I can't hide.

It will always find me

I will always be stuck in the darkness.
