Best For You

I only wanted what was best for you.

Seeing you hurt is the worst feeling anyone could feel.

Watching you throw away your life is so hard.

Trying to give you advice, but you won't take it.

Act as if I don't know what I'm talking about.

I don't want to control you,

I want you to be you, find you, but I also need you to understand the consequences that come with that. 

Day and night.

Life is not fair, it does not come with a book.

We all make mistakes, the key is to learn from them.

But are you?

I keep watching you fall, 

I'm so scared the farther you fall I can't help you.

But you won't listen to me.

In your head, I'm a nobody.

A person trying to control you which is not true.

I just want the best for you. 

But I'm failing at my job, and you're failing at helping yourself.
