For an instance of time

In that brink of time you loved me enormously but

You were not even aware of that casualty that you caused

When you took a pause for that brink of time when our

 hearts shrunk tight, still i fought myself cause i knew

I wasn’t right mistaking your friendship for love; twice.

Sometimes I lay on my back staring at sky wondering,

Do you also think of me when you wake up everyday,

Imagining me by your side when you went to your bed,

Hoping that you came and never left cause we loved each other,

Our best and if even for an instance of time, you felt the same;

It would justify all the pain.
