This deadly snare of yours

Like the wind in the rain,

pushing through all the pain,

is it wrong of me to think

that I don't deserve to sink?

A ghostly voice in the pitter patter

I am lost in the storm, all tattered.

I choke on my breath

everytime I breathe in.

I hurl out my heart

everytime it's beating.

This ugly mind, my scarred heart

is scarred and broken apart.

Looking at the corpses you left behind.

I am just here, waiting for mine.

Haunting it might be, but, it beguiles

my monotonous and treacherous life

which begs to be anything other than a lie

in a world full of wishes and hopes that die.
