She was getting drenched in the torrential rain
Obviously she was pregnant and couldn’t move
As the road was inundated with rain water
I saw her plight from the comfort of my balcony
And went inside and gathered few warm rugs and sheets
Then I saw her man standing under a shelter and
Glaring at me, and appear to say, dare you not go near her
I was in a dilemma and the kindness won over the fear
I set aside the bed sheets and rug in a dry area
And she came and rested and and thanked me
By showing gratitude from her eyes
The rain continued and I went inside the house
And almost forgot her but was awakened rudely from the
Strange noise coming from the just born
I went out to have a look and saw him standing guard
And protecting the new born with all the love
And affection and looked at me when I went close
And thanked me with all the kindness oozing from
His eyes while the the Queen Cat was licking her three
Offspring’s with the kindness and love only a mother can show.
