I run to the terrace
as early as I can
finishing all my work
so that I
spend more time with it
On the last step
the entire sky
fills with shades of yellow
with white clouds and
Chirping Birds
The River is surrounded by trees
The water
splashes against
huge rocks cross them
Its ripples reflect the sun on my face
I don't feel alone anymore
Above it

edged by glowing streetlamps
Vehicles run on it
their headlights are eyes
of a swarm of tiny moving ants
under the vast sky above
I feel joyful and content
The sun dips lower
The sky is
flourished with
shades of orange
I feel like
I have talked to
a calm and encouraging person
But it is
the Sunset
with the
Shades of my Life
