Naked Indian

Naked Indian

I emerged into this world, naked and bare,

No grand entrance, no spotlight's glare.

Just the Earth beneath, my mother's brave care,

As she laboured on, with love to share.

No lavish room, no costly display,

Just an old lady with wisdom's sway.

No cameras flashed on that fateful day,

As I took my first breath in an unassuming way.

From where I was born in the largest slum of the country

from where I could see the tall structure in all glory

where another child born to the star couple

while I lay there on the old rag and nothing to doodle

While media covets stars, fame's bright glow,

I was born amidst a humbler show.

No opulence, no luxuries to bestow,

Just the humblest start, a fact I know.

My father toiled, clearing city streets,

No time for welcomes, no grand feats.

For the privileged few, a life so sweet,

While I embrace simplicity's heartbeat.

In the quiet of dawn, where stars softly fade,

I'll embrace each challenge, unafraid.

No silver spoon, no extravagant aid,

Just resilience, as my foundation's laid.

I'll grow amidst soil, embrace life's grime,

But I'll thrive, oh yes, with each passing time.

Healthier, stronger, in rhythm with rhyme,

A life robust, away from opulent prime.

For my destiny's writ, a different creed,

To cleanse the paths for another's steed.

No regrets, no sorrow, I'll take the lead,

As a star in my own right, no grandeur I need.

So, ready I am, to embrace my chore,

To prepare for the rich, another's floor.

A cycle unending, a tale encore,

A life of service, to that, I implore.

I'll paint my dreams on skies so vast,

With hope as my brush, my lot steadfast.

No riches define my journey's cast,

In humble steps, my destiny amassed.

So, here I stand, a child of the earth,

No grandeur sought, no royal birth.

With gratitude, I'll treasure each girth,

And live a life of meaning and worth.
