Disappointing Fishing Day

Disappointing Fishing Day

1 min
410

Dad's sitting all day long,

Fishing at the bank,

No fish caught his rod,

So Dad's patience sank.

I came forward saying,

"Dad mustn't look at rank.

Children at my age don't wield for a tank."

Dad replied with a sigh; not of relief, But with a hesitation uttering grieve;

With no warning, the rod hit the deck I lunged forward to have a tiny peck.

"Your sack will have a hole and you will be disappointed,

Let's not go home, who knows if the fish's teeth are pointed?"
