Disappointed Fishing Day

Disappointed Fishing Day

1 min
158

Dad's sitting all day long,

Fishing at the bank

No fish caught his rod,

So Dad's patience sank.

I came forward saying,

"Dad musn't look at rank.

Children at my age don't

Weild for a tank."

Dad replied with a sigh, not of relief;

But a hesitation uttering grieve;

With no warning, the rod hit the deck,

I lunged forward to have a tiny peck.

"Your sack will have a hole, and You will be disappointed,

Let's not go home, who knows if the fish's teeth are pointed!!"
