Did She Deserve It?

An average student almost all her life,

In school and graduation,

The first time she got her best marks,

It was a gift by that monster, 

Did she deserve it?

Shook her self confidence,

She doubted her capabilities,

Her academic years ahead were traumatizing, 

Good marks made her sink into bad memories, 

Did she deserve it?

She trusted some people,

But trusting herself was tough,

Her good grades and achievements 

Were scary,

Ironically, 

Did she deserve it?

A constant question she asks herself.
