DEPLORABLE REALITY

We live in a country where;

Democracy cries,

Unity ultimately divides.

Nirbhaya was India's daughter,

yet her justice was delayed.

Men aren't safe either,

yet we delude

things never happen,

and ignore it effortlessly.

The wealthy with all privileges, 

competing to be the best.

With people impoverished and 

their hardships unaddressed.

We live in a society where;

It's communal riots over composure,

where none can justify their

 awful behaviour.

Sexism and racism are

misconstrued as sarcasm,

Pseudo-feminism is the

new rendition of feminism.

Such are the issues received

with no enthusiasm.

The depressed are

validated weak 

and you're preposterous,

if ethically you speak.
