Let’s rewind the times when the era defined

The humble souls who fought for the 

freedom of Hind

Who, with outmost valour fought like gusty wind!!

Uttering ‘Jai Hind’ for glorifying the nation,

‘To live and die for freedom’, represented their pure passion!!

Their love for the nation rectified no error 

In defending the motherland with outmost terror 

Fire in their eyes, storm in their chest as armour, 

Combatted with the British, the denizens showed acute vigour!!

Forecasted their own mission for Independence 

The ‘hooligans’ had to retrieve to their condescendence!!

As they set out for the movement, all ties they forgot,

Discerning the bloody path they sought,

Till the last snuffle of their breath, they fought,

To upkeep the nation’s pride, they faced every gunshot!!

Never did they ever let down the ‘Tricolour’

With hands holding the flag erect, the martyrs lied down as an ardent lover!!

As we pay homage today, we recall your sacrifice,

O’ fearless warriors of Mother India, you have paid the price,

Of the free air we breathe in, of your valiant tales we apprise

To the whole world, may your stories mesmerise!!!

Overwhelmed by your indefinite endeavour,

 We Salute you and hold you in high stature, forever!!
