Global Warming

As the Earth weeps, her tears fall,

Aching from wounds, deep and tall.

Global warming, the devil in disguise,

Slowly extinguishing the once vibrant skies.

The sun scorching fiercely, unrelenting,

Ice caps melting, oceans cresting.

Forests disappearing, endless lament,

Polar bears stranded, their home in dissent.

Smokestacks belching, choking the air,

Crops withering, life stripped bare.

Mother Nature's agony, felt all around,

Her desperate plea, hardly whispered sound.

We must rise, and fight for greener days,

Revive our planet, mend its frays.

Reduce our footprint, embrace clean energy,

Protect the Earth, our ultimate legacy.
