COLLISION
COLLISION
The varied spirits in men
Are often the cause of clashes:
The impure hearts and minds
Of human beings interact
And there evolves a definite reaction
Of sympathy or antipathy;
Life takes its passionate meaning
From these very collisions.
When the vital element in one
Meets its counterpart in another
Instant rapport is achieved
Or the fearsome sparks fly;
Soul touching the material plane
Brings into being the ego
Resulting either in amiable accord
Or foul fighting between fellows.
Yet, the truth which escapes many of us
Found by searching into the soul
Is that pure spirit opposes not itself
But always has affection for its own form;
The solution, then, is to strive to wipeout
Those subtle impurities which do defile
And enquiring into the essential reasons for
Bad behaviour, eliminate all friction thereby.
