Caught Innocent Me
Caught Innocent Me
When I was trying to steal that love,
In her heart next door,
I knocked the door patiently,
In our code we understand,
My heart thumped,
As I waited outside,
It took so long,
With none responding,
I made my way to her bedroom window,
Slowly removing the glass panes,
I moved the screen away,
In the darkness I couldn't see the figure on the bed,
I jumped onto the bed,
Ahh.. help me.. help me.
It went blank all of a sudden,
The echoes and wailing,
Wild calls for help,
Frantic shouts,
All were audible,
Before I could react the lights went up,
And I saw her parents,
With sticks and broom in hands,
To thrash me thinking I am a thief,
It was the last ever moment,
I wanted to see any of their faces again,
It was the day I got caught red-handed.
