Billy and the Pedigree
Billy and the Pedigree
A boy in rain
Saw a puppy in pain
The blood was oozing out
And it had already lost a lot
So, the boy carried it along.
His mother asked "What took you so long?"
And was surprised to see it
But became quiet as it was bit
So, she let her son without a but
And examined it to know the source of cut
Then she said "It is in luck-"
Her son interrupted "Was it a duck?"
"No, don't be silly."
The mother scolded her son Billy
"It doesn't need stitches
But it is surely an art of some bitches."
"Oh, poor puppy!" Billy said with an exclaim
"But I don't understand. What must the aim?"
His mother said "It must have been fighting for food."
"That's what animals do, those who live in the wood."
After some time, the cut was healed
Billy and his mother were relieved
Billy asked "Now, what we must do?"
Then came a strong gusty loo!
The priced painting got stuck into a tree
And off went the pedigree!
The puppy dodged and climbed the bark
Oh no! Inside the tree, it was dark
The puppy was really clever
but the hunt went almost forever!
After sometime, the painting was bought
Oh my! It was worth a lot!
Billy and his mother hugged the pedigree
After all, it saved the painting from that tree!
