Care for nature

I look at the sky so blue, sun shining so bright 

Spreading warmth and happiness with all its might 

I look down at the ground, so hard 

With long blades of grass swaying with the breeze 

Dancing in rhythm with so much ease  

I look here and there too 

The tress swaying to and fro 

The birds are singing melodiously 

Sitting in their nests, happily 

I ponder how Nature could get it so right 

When we let Nature’s lessons out of sight 

She’s so caring & polite to all of us 

Yet we fail to understand her, & dream in the world full of lust. 

We have ruined her all from forests to glaciers, 

We have dried the essence of life & faith 

But, she doesn’t mind 

Seems like her aim is to shower love on all human kind 

And yes! There will be a day 

When she will give up her motherly love 

She will ruin us all like we have done. 

So, look out greedy beings  

Start to help her and stop being mean. 

She’s so polite to give us a home 

So green, so pure, perfect to survive 

Ponder on this and respect her 

Respect who? Our dear, Mother Earth.
