They are born with happy feet,
And with a chatty beat,
Mumbling they way to stand upright,
And to smile all bright,
Insatiable curiosity for the world around,
Picking pieces while turning round and round,
Nestling mum’s face,
To know her in all grace,
Picky all the time in her food,
Throwing a swing in her mood,
Baby utters her first word,
It’s blurred and sounds backward,
They learn through mysterious ways,
Wading thought all haze,
What do they make of it?
How do they get the maze fit?
Just when we thought they could stay cute forever,
They have grown all clever,
Stomping feet they go marching,
Clapping hands they swing arching,
Diving into the forbidden,
And they are our beautiful Children!
