Nature’s Symphony

I shift them shades, and I saw the smothering clouds clear,

It wasn’t always when I was looking ‘em through windshield,

The beaky flyers are more cheerful than ever,

It was only a human clamor before,

The splashy streams are glinting nature more than ever,

It was tainted with a myriad of colors before,

It’s about time we strip off the malice!!!

 

A creepy crawler kept us at bay,

Threatening if we dared to have a say,

Who is this mysterious creeper?

Delivered only by bat fever,

A wrong touch could cost our lives,

Rest of the time we be resting with the knives,

It’s about time we strip off the malice!!

 

We cobbled up in turmoil,

Life of impecunity was about to uncoil,

Cornered in the confinements of our shades,

Missing all them times at the glades,

Waiting for shackles to cut loose,

And run until we bruise,

It’s about time we strip off the malice!!

 

I pushed them doors, ambled on to the new light,

With greater love and reverence,

For everything we deserve,

For every ounce of the air, we breathe,

For every inch of the freedom,

We….  Are…….. Grateful……
