Breaking up

If it became mandatory to break,

I won't break like a heart does

surrounding myself with darkness

and engulfing myself in an ocean of tears.

I won't break like promises do

burning up expectations

and hurting others' hearts .

I won't break like a rock either

dividing my own existence

into a million small pieces.

I won't break like glass breaks

piercing others , making them bleed

I will rather choose to break

like a selfish relationship

which goes on with hard feelings.
