Boat

A small boat in the open sea, water seeping through, the lone boy struggling from drowning, clouds all around, dark and menacing,  

 

Threatening to overturn the little boat, these waves, mighty and proud, arrogantly tosses the little boat hither and tither, 

 

The boy struggles on, now weakening by the minute, clinging to his memories, 

 

The doubt is what for he is struggling, when the odds are not in his favour, it's the decision of the elements to torture the boy, 

 

One got to question the thunder throner, his wisdom!!, how many more, to satisfy you, 

 

He knows no tears, now that they are salty like the gigantic waves, either he got to cry or struggle for life,

 

He gave up his struggle, reaching his physical limits, like too many innocents, 

 

With a smile, he realized he was crying, going down, with no strength to fear, he saw his departed family , and land a bit yonder, where his family is not there, 

 

Papa, mama, please don't feel bad, you know I struggled and fought in this ocean of sadness, 

As I must, but I'm a mere boy, without you I'm nowhere, here I come for your guidance to live better, in some other

life, maybe.

 

He fought, but you lost,

(an inner turmoil of an orphan).
