Between I And Me

Between I And Me

Don't tell..............

I've stolen mangoes from uncle's garden

Because at that time nobody saw

That mixture of raw tomato and chilly

Eaten many times hiding from Mummy

Stolen coins from piggy bank

For little brother's happiness with cold drink

Feel sorrow today as once cheated parents

Couldn't lie before them as they don't like lies

In early hostel days when food was not tasty

Huge wait to go home was making me thirsty

Still my tone over phone have always sound happy

To relax the family for whom I am lucky
