Ask Yourself
Ask Yourself
Is it really difficult for someone to give you their time?
A question over the years you mysteriously ponder
A few minutes is what it takes, a common feeling
That's no big mountain to climb, or a maze to wander
They say they were occupied, leave it upon you to understand
You never doubt them though, despite the delay being forever
A few words is what it takes, a light hearted conversation is what you foresee
That's no goal for you to endeavor, however
It is their time, it will always be
You are no one to set their things right
A few thoughts shared is what it takes, though it is for them to acknowledge
That's no worry for you nonetheless, you need not cling too tight
Patience is a virtue, you are never entitled to leave it
But is it worth the wait, is it worth experiencing a cliffhanger
A few days, a few months, a few years it may be or it may be a lifetime
If worthy enough, express vividly to the least, don't hold on to your anger
Why do you take it upon you to empathize always, an expectation to understand
Neither you may, nor should you ever mind, that aint no crime
Untroubled you be, be carefree, stop asking yourself this question
Is it really difficult for someone to give you their time?
