An Imaginary City

A place where people live in harmony and peace

Where there is no argument about the lease

Where tourists, cab drivers don't try to fleece

Of all the resources, when people get an equal piece

The people would have toned down their greed

From pollution we would have been freed

When we will not look for a camera to do a good deed

When people, instead of watching movies, will go to the library to read

When the war soldiers will be vacationing, and will not have to bleed

When we will not wait for Earth Day to plant a seed

It will be warm and bright because of the sun

We will see flowers in every corner, while on our morning run

We will switch to healthier food instead of the regular bun

Good health will then be our priority number one

We will live in unity, with discrimination of none

The only weapon will be a harmless toy gun

For making money, there will be no rat race

To enjoy life a little, we will decrease our pace

The birds will be free and animals will not lack space

Of crimes, there will be no trace

This is my city of dreams, an imaginary place!
