A Journey
A Journey
It's the strongest trust
When we plan something for tomorrow;
It's the blind faith
When we pray for our future;
It’s our intuition that builds this lace.
I walked down to a narrow lane,
In the hope of finding a lamp;
I touched the walls of ancient mantra,
Cause they say, darkness leaves with this tantra.
I went to the temple with my prayers,
I started believing in Lord Shiva’s affairs;
I heard that he accepts both good and evil,
So I prayed for him to forgive my hideous devil.
The unforgotten memories of childhood,
Which gave ache in the heart by hoots.
Released my mind to ignite in pressure,
So I became an enthralling monster.
I wasn’t so sure,
If I wanted a cure;
But I decided to walk to the temple,
Cause I was enslaved by gamble.
I saw millions of worshipers
Uttering words of prayer.
Then a saint came and said
“Prayers will lead the way,
There will be a fortunate day.”
