Nature's Play
Nature's Play

The rooster’s crow is heard at dawn,
The animals will be soon from their homes gone.
There goes the frog jumping pad to pad,
The hummingbird flying,
What happy lads!
The bees busy as ever can be,
Out of the sweet flowers, they make honey.
The lark sings times to time,
His rich voice makes our day divine.
Some robins building a nest,
Work hard is what they do best.
They lay eggs, so beautiful and divine.
With Blue specks and pink stripes, they make us smile.
A fox lies slyly behind a log of wood,
It waits to pounce in its blood-red hood.
The rabbit pricks its ears, smiles and takes off running.
They both are playing tag, the fox is not so cunning!
Here comes the peacock surprisingly walking with no vain!
There is a thorn in his foot he is in pain!
The bunny removes it, the peacock thanks him a lot.
He promises the bunny a carrot pot.
In a dark cave sits grizzly money.
But do not at all be afraid sonny.
For he will smile wide and welcome you to his lovely cave.
And make some tea and his famous nutty cake!
As the sun sets the animals to gather together,
On their fluffy coats, they feel the warm weather.
The animals go to their dens to wake up to another bright day.
This is the cycle of nature’s play!
