All Belongs To My Brother
All Belongs To My Brother
She had to escape the fire
The hut was on fire,
Her heart was burning
Her parents were done to death
She hid with the toddler
Sleeping blissfully, unscathed.
They would come searching,
Her father had a son
The land would be won.
Inheritance was imminent
Yet it was distant
Life was important
She had kept him safe
Yet fight evil in her ways
All of ten she was
Intelligent and innocent
Now was the dawn
Of a life guard,
Seeds of maturity sown
To take back and reinstate
Her brother to him it all belonged.
Only this strength made her pull along.
