Plain Cosmos pervading

Afar, beyond into oblivion

Whence forged- solid

Ear the hammers clash


Passage of eons beyond count 

Before the hills we mount 

Were born- grown to peaks

Flying things without beaks

Crawling ones walked the earth

Long before our very birth


We Sapiens and Erectus before 

Creatures with a spine-straight 

A miniscule in a cosmic dance

Tongues - tribes- rituals

Mere thoughts in creator's mind? 

Oh mirror! mirror! Tear thy veil
