An Inquiry
An Inquiry
Once I was, someone
Not anymore, I thought
An unlikely metamorphosis
A strange twist of 'time'
Spouse to 'change'
Die now, be reborn, yet again
Who am I?
Unless, I own or remember?
Once stripped clean
The journey begins
To end in nothing
Freewill shall take its course
To indulge in pleasures or fame
To blow the trumpets
Of piety and righteousness
Petty endeavours indeed
Ye the hollow vessels!
Sound the loudest
