Visitors from another World

At the end of the garden  

flashes a ship from another world  

They've arrived to keep us company  

to aid the human race  

 

Their technology is advanced  

they've eradicated war and greed  

There's no money on their planet  

and everything is free  

 

The weather is proscribed  

Hence the skies are always blue  

No one catches colds  

and sneezing is a taboo  

 

They don't eat chicken or fish  

Their dinner is just a pill  

you take one every day  

but two might make you sick  

 

Having sex is rather different though  

as gender's not an issue  

with boys and girls the same  

there's no need for a tissue  

 

No consent is required  

to start a family  

though kids are strictly rationed

upto a maximum of three  

 

With a trillion things to teach us  

so many thoughts to improve  

looks like they're going away again  

Earth's too much work to do  

 

But do not feel dejected  

there's hope beyond the tears  

They've promised to come back  

in half a billion years......
