A Wish
A Wish
I was mystified at what lay beneath a mind that was like a deep blue sea,
While I explored, the waves gushed and roared till I was left with an unspoken plea.
I always held within me a silent grief,
Never expounded, for I felt it would leave me in disbelief.
I dread that moment when I would not get to see you anymore,
Will it trickle down the memory lane and swell my eyes till they are sore?
Will I yearn to catch a glimpse, while I cannot rewind.
Or would I wish that one last time you unwind?
