A Wish To Live
A Wish To Live
A wish to live; breathe in amatory terms,
A wish to bide in your tepid arms;
Yet sojourn in every crimp of your heart,
Flourishing in you as a forever yearning tart.
I scourged myself every single time,
I'd battered you as a defiant crime.
You'd always breathed my terms in a smile,
Nonchalant to your own decided mile.
I'd allured you to the sick havens to cry,
While I flew myself o'er the azure sky.
You cried in darkness in indelible scars,
I cherished beneath the sky filled stars.
No words I shall speak in defence,
I know my deeds hurled terrible offence.
Just a word more truthful than death,
Is my love for you; my oath of devout faith.
Those nights shattered in my arms,
Those impregnated moments of qualms;
Must never return again,
I shall drink the remnants of your pain.
I shall be a bride you'd dreamt forever,
Carrying you tenderly as a meandering river.
Proffering my chastity to your name,
I shall protect you from all mayhems.
Another chance and forgiveness I implore,
Let me not crumble frail at your door.
This' my wish to live; a wish to be with you,
Serving you joy in my warm milieu.
