A Silent Signal Lost

A Silent Signal Lost

In the quiet of my screen, your name would glow,
Witch, a star I followed, distant, slow.
From classroom shadows, I watched you shine,
Your posts, your words, a thread I wished were mine.

On Messenger’s pulse, our words began to weave,
WhatsApp’s soft chime, a world I’d come to believe.
Day and night, we talked, my heart a fragile flame,
I confessed my spark, hoping you’d feel the same.

But a coin spun unseen, my chances split in two,
A doctor’s shadow rose, his light outshining you.
Your message came, a blade through silent air,
You chose his orbit, a life I’ll never share.

Now my screen is blank, no light, no sound,
My heart’s a lost signal, nowhere to be found.
Your path moves on, too far to see,
I’m left in silence, where hope fades from me.
