A DEATH SO LIVELY
A DEATH SO LIVELY
Waking up to the sound
Of people crying nearby
Not a very happy sight I see
A body and face just like mine
Lying lifeless on a bed
Realization dawns, it's me who is dead
That's when I hear a voice very deep
"You lived your life
But you haven't found peace"
That was the Gods who spoke
I hugged and waved a last goodbye
To my family who can't feel me
I wander in the city, drink my fav coffee
Eat cakes, go to the amusement park,
Sit on dangerous rides, fall from a building
'Cause I can't feel any pain
Still, I can't seem to find peace
Then I return back home
And see my family smiling
And waving at the stars
A smile creeps its way
Through my tears
That's when I know I found peace
A door behind me opens
With a hundred stairs behind
I start my journey to heaven
Supposed to be a sad one
But here I am happy as ever
Fading from this world
With a heart full of memories
We fail to acknowledge
The small happiness in life
But not always do we get a second chance
Guess what, I just lived life through deatH
