As A Kid

As a kid, I lived in a world where the world felt beautiful, people around me were kind, my close ones were my strength, they were my inspirations, they were someone I rely on completely. 

Now, I am living in a world where there's no scarcity of selfish, lying and unfair people. Instead of being my strengths, they prove to be my weaknesses, they weaken me, instead of being my inspirations, they are people I never want to be like, instead of being the one i could rely on, they are people I never want to rely on. 

As a kid, I lived in a world where the world felt motivating, people around me thought best of others, people around me heard everyone clearly and then responded, people gave chances to dream, imagine and create. 

Now, I am living in a world where people constantly demotivate each other, the trend of listening is no longer seen, the trend of speaking is faster than anything when it comes to insult poeple. The world of imagination is long gone, creation is ignored, trials have no space at this age. 

Is growing up to be an adult that ugly? Are adults not realising what they are doing to people around or even to the close ones? What is it with the adults?

Is growing up to be a teenager that ugly? Are teenagers creating an image of adults like that? Are teenagers overthinking because of their hormonal issues? What is it with the teens?

Let's say, as you grow up, you realise you were such an Idiot to believe that the world is beautiful. The truth is, the world was always this, its you who is growing up now, the world was always that unfair, people closest to you were always trying to rip your heart.

You never realised that right?

No problems. Because you had your family, always there to catch you, be there for you through all the odd and evens. Helped you make this world a better place to live in. Some friends, some people, let's not count them in that set of people and feel blessed today to have them. 

 

But dear future let's try not to be like the adults we have in our lives. Let'sbe more kind and beautiful as a kid is. Let's prove to the next kid how beautiful being a Teenager, or an adult is.
