All these are different words to call her

But who is she?

She is the one

Who can love you unconditionally

Who can stay up all night for you

Who can fix broken dreams

The one who watches movies with you

The one whose lap feels comfortable

And we never grow enough to not sleep there

She would be the moderator

Between you and your dad

She yells at us when we make mistakes

But comes back with a slight smile and says sorry

When something hurts us,

Tears roll down from her eyes

She is the best friend, the cook, the doctor

She is our everything

You are my home

The first place I live in

My first love, my mother….

Not everyone has a mom
