IF I SHOULD HAVE A DAUGHTER

IF I SHOULD HAVE A DAUGHTER

If I should have a daughter,

I will tell her that being a woman

Is like being a god

I will remind her of the worth she holds.

No one should mistreat her

She is far more priceless

And no one should mess with her dignity

I will tell her that is she is a warrior and a winner.

To make her realise

That self independence brings respect

To be called a boss

Is more sexy than being called a queen!

I will be her role model

To make her have a taste of heaven

In the cute little soul she has

I will tell her that the truth always sets one free.

She shouldn't fear anyone

She is to walk in confidence

And to take pride in her abilities

To tell her that loyalty is not vanity

That all she wants comes from within her.
