My Cottage Garden

My Cottage Garden

1 min
79

It all started with my unbelief

Putting all my strengths in drive

I only believed it was me and my efforts

I saw that my way was blocked.

Sudden falls and failings

Worrying crowded my small head

Nothing was being figured and worked out

My cottage and garden that I had hopes on.

I could plant but no sprouting

I could stand on one foot and stare at the space

Figured out my weakness

After all, it was what I wanted.

My garden is to me a God-given miracle

Each day, no matter what season of the year

I awake to its delights and thank God

For His immense blessings.

My favorite view was from the back

From the front lawn, I look out over the,

Waters of the Firth of Clyde

Here I sit in peace and still thank my God.
