A Day

As the day reared on, 

The sun brightly shone.

The opposite windows glistened, 

And, wet trees shimmered.  

As I moved to greet this quietness, 

It felt good, for many minutes to come by, 

The wind touched my face, and 

Eventually, the birds came singing by. 

Soon, it came back to me, 

How we move so fast? 

We only see two, but leave so many apart. 

How we look straight and never afar?

But when I looked up,

A luscious blue sky awaited my graze, 

For blue all the same, yet if looked upon closely, 

The white cloud and pattern always differentiate. 

Though I only awed for many minutes to come by, 

My gaze still felt aloof, 

I assured my self “ There's only so much one can see with two eyes “

And to this landscape, I said goodbye.
