Procrastination
Procrastination
"It's 9:00 am now", I thought to myself,
Today I will tie all loose ends, I assured myself.
Feeling pleased with my motive,
I pulled my chair, wiped my desk, got my books sorted.
Soon my determination reached its peak,
Enough Organisation! I began my studies.
My book and I resonated for about five pages,
After which, my determination faded.
With the book in front, I started to think,
Not about physics, but about everything else.
It took my eyes a shorter time,
To understand that it is more interesting outside.
Grey day, empty roads and silent mundane sounds,
Felt more interesting, then my educational bounds.
My gaze outside was broken,
By a sharp note, played by my phone.
"Just one reply," I thought to myself.
"After this, I will only work ", I assured myself.
