What Might I Do Today?
What Might I Do Today?
The moment the rays hit our eyes,
The moments we realize, it's time to continue,
It's time to resume where we left off,
From the darkness of yesterday to the new tomorrow,
We realize that right now.
As the eyes get adjusted, thoughts race our mind,
Most of them mandate but important only one,
"What might I do today, something I had never done "
To maybe break the chains of our lives,
To maybe help the world, invest in our drive.
However determined, we ignore that thought,
And focus on our "important" time,
From then and there starts again a day of ignorance,
Stats again another day of confusion.
Imagine if everyone ignored it,
If all the great scientist, pioneers,
Worked their mundane lives,
We'd still be hitting stones to keep us warm,
We'd still be using horses to run from harm.
Now imagine a world where no one ignores the question,
If every question had an answer, and an answer, a question,
A world that made sense and so did our lives,
Now let me ask you again, expecting no lies,
"What might you do today, something you had never tried."
