The Mystery Chair

Kriti's house was filled with relatives as it was festive season. Everyone was chatting and having fun. All the mommy's in the family were busy preparing food. Kids were enjoying the morning and having fun. 

Kriti was very busy in getting ready. She wore a long reddish orange lehenga and did her make over. The metal jumkas added on beauty to her look. Later they completed some rituals and puja and sat to eat. 

As Kriti's grandfather didn't come yet for lunch, she went to his room. She was expecting that he must've slept in the chair which they bought recently on second hand. It appeared as unused. 

As she went into his room, he was in the chair just as Kriti thought. So she called her grandfather, but he didn't respond.

So she went near and to her shock found him dead!!! She screamed loudly. All the people in the house ran upstairs and couldn't believe what they've seen. Kriti was taken into custody as she was the one present as the first evidence of confirming her grandfather's death. She was questioned and made to perform small formalities.

As few days passed by... Kriti's father went into that room. He felt very emotional seeing the chair which his father bought just a few days before his death. He sat in the chair to get a feel of staying close to his father. 

After an hour, as he didn't come out of the room, Kriti's mom, Ms. Ahuja went and was stunned. Kriti couldn't understand what just happened. Her father was dead in the chair. 

Not one or two whoever went into Kriti's grandfather's room were dead. Little did they know that the new chair had a mystery behind it which stands unsolved and thus were the deaths!!!
