Embarking On A New Journey -Part I

Mugdha and Rohit were the successful names in the apparel industry. Their firm "Be Trendy - BT " won various awards, but they also got awarded as Best Emerging Entrepreneurs of the Year. They were the perfect combination of Rohit's ideas, Mughda's knowledge and presentation skills were unmatched. They started their firm in a single-room office, and today they had offices in all metro cities and were expanding their wings outside India. It was the "Midas Touch" phase for them, and to add the cherry on the top, they were getting "Engaged”. When Rohit popped this question to Mugdha, it was a Yes. Rohit and Mugdha knew each other since MBA and starting a firm just brought them together. Their family was happy to accept this idea and were all excited about their new journey. Preparations were in full swing on both sides to give the final touch to the ceremony. Right from the wedding destination, dresses, jewelry, guest list, gifts, etc, she was involved in every step to ensure it was processed smoothly.

Mugdha was an ambitious, focused, and hardworking woman. She was 12 years old, full of life, happiness, emotions, the sudden demise of her mother changed everything for her. This unfortunate incident had a devastating effect on her father's health that she had to take care of him and her 7-year-old younger sister. She was no more the kid of the family, rather she grew up that day and took over the responsibility. It is said, "When the tough time comes, it equips and prepares you to face it, till then you are never prepared”. Mugdha was very close to her mother, though physically she was fine yet emotionally she was broken. No one could see the pain she was going through, for her family she was the strong supporting pillar of the family. She played her role so well that her father recovered from his illness, and for her younger sister 'Kiara", she was an angel. Slowly things started getting on track, he resumed his business while Mugdha not only continued his studies but supported him too in the business. In the midst of all this, she did not realize the changes that happened within her.

 Rohit was a great guy, ambitious, hardworking, and getting married to him was the perfect deal. Loving someone was something, she was yet to prepare herself for it. Though she was about to start a new chapter in her life, yet she still felt as if she was missing something. However, one fine day while going through her closet, she came across the childhood photograph, that photograph was special for her since this was the only memory of her childhood friend 'Kartik". Tears rolled down her eyes, seeing that picture as she shared a great bond with Kartik, within a short period, they become best friends. Kartik's family moved to another city just a week before the sudden demise of her mother and unfortunately, that was the last time, she heard from him. She had no idea where his best friend was when she needed him the most?

Rohit belonged to a rich, affluent business family. Being the only child only to his parents, he was pampered, loved, and cared. Though his parents were not too happy with this idea of getting married to Mugdha initially, however post-meeting her and getting to know her, they accepted the relationship. He admired and loved Mugdha and was excited to start the new journey with her.

Rohit had already reached the Engagement venue and was waiting for Mughda to arrive. He couldn't wait anymore and decided to call her to check. In the 1st bell itself Mugdha replied "Ya, Ro, I am about to reach, another 5 mins, please. Don't worry I'll be there even before you miss me again. Rohit was happy to hear her voice and replied, Mu, come soon, cant wait to see you. And yes, I have a surprise plan for you. And you know..even before he could complete his sentence there was a big noise "Boom" at the other end and the call went silent at the other end.
