Being A Teen

Being a teenager is really strange,

Life seems a bore when there is no change!!!

We like to explore the world with our free minds,

Our own rules we make, many new paths we find!!!

Fun and studies go hand in hand,

We are neither superstars nor a rock band!!

We are normal teens who live by our rules!!

At times we are aggresive, at times cool.

We want people to understand and listen to us,

Not to ignore our problems, not make them a fuss!! Practicality is what we believe in today,

Yet we are sensitive to others in a different way!!!

When we get emotional, we want others to know,

We remain high in spirits, at times we get low!!!

We like always being the centre of attraction,

It feels we are always in some action!!

Things are felt differently and differently seen,

At times life seems good, at times it seems mean!!

Now you understand what's it like to be a teen,

Daring, confused, merry and always keen!!!
