You Told Everyone

You told everyone that you don't care anymore,

But every time you hear a voice similar to mine, you turn back and pray to see me.

You told everyone that I am your past now,

But every time you felt low, you secretly came back to those voice recordings which you saved.

You told everyone that you don't feel a connection with me,

But every time your phone rings, you always wish it's me.

You told everyone that I mean nothing to you anymore,

But every time you kept updates about my whereabouts.

You told people though, It's high time now.

You need to tell these things to yourself.

Realise them, absorb them and maybe finally move on,

Because maybe I am long gone into these blue skies.

Yes do miss me, 

But do move on.

Because I am not coming back,

I am not coming back.
