WIN AND WIN EVERYWHERE

Huge applause and whistles continued with Srini's exit from the stage, and these are all from the first year. Srini, a fourth-year student of engineering is now feeling proud of himself for his speech in front of all including VNIT management and media. The huge audience who were enjoying a few minutes back Ashwin's debate of proving engineers smartest are now in the confusion that what's going on. Meanwhile, some news reporters are seeking attention by questioning on the speech given by Srini. The panel of judges including the principal is now thinking about how to handle the situation but all are just helpless. Although at the time of the election, they are successful to hush the conflict between the two competing parties and hide the fight incident from the media. But this time all the things are going to unfold in front of the whole city. The judging panel of the competition and all the teachers and principal are in a tense state, after all this is about the reputation of the college. Instead of thinking and deciding the winner of the competition they all are in thoughts about the current situation and the day ended. In the evening the three never falling friends; Machhar, Srini, and Lambu sit together on the lawn in the hostel area. All of them are sitting silently but they are happy.

Suddenly Machhar said: Srini, yaar tujhe aaj chumne ka man kar raha hai, de tera sar de tujhe chumlun.

Lambu: Are nai nai ise toh salute karna chahiye.

Srini: Are aise kyun bol rahe ho yehi toh plan that humara ki sub kuch sabke samne aye and I just did that. I will kill that bastard, Rahul if I could. But let it be, we had a plan and it is successful we took revenge properly without breaking any rule. And they started celebrating the evening with pizzas, cokes, and their all-time favorite cigar. Machhar said tonight we will sleep a sukun ka need. 

On the other hand, media reporters are arising questions about what had happened that one guy from the college said this in his speech at the competition. They are just screwing up the predictions and highlighting them again and again. They are questioning the election monitoring committee and its responsibility. Some news channels are throwing queries that if the election was fair or not. All except the Mchhar party are in shock and about Rahul, he was in a horrible state. Rahul at present is not finding a way how to excuse himself and escape the wrong things he had done before. He is thinking all about what will happen the next morning, and what will he do. Cause now his career and reputation are at risk, he has to anyway make his hands clean of that past situation. 

The next morning VNIT is seeing a huge gathering of reporters in front of the principal's chamber. All are trying to get into the principal room and vomit all their questions straight in the face of the principal. The day was supposed to announce the long waited winner award for the "student of the year" but instead all are thinking about the way to face the media and public to secure the reputation of the college. There are also many fourth-year students with first-year students speaking to the media against the students who won the election in the wrong way and how they steal the winning seat from the fourth year. The students' mob is also complaining about injustices continuing in the college.

In between the whole crowd, the principal of VNIT appeared. Seeing him all the students just became silent. There was a pin-drop silence spread everywhere. All the students who were there are curious about what will he speak, and what will happen next. Media reporters continued to put their questions on the principal but he was just silent. After a while, he started speaking. He first apologize to the media that he tried to hide the incident instead of solving it. Then declared Rahul as debarred from the college for six months. The media became silent and vacated the college campus one by one. But still, there are many questions in the minds of the students present who will be the student of the year who will be the secretary if Rahul will not come to the college such and such, the students started gossiping among themselves. Later that day two notices attracted the attention of many. One is about the ongoing competition of "the student of the year"; which explained that the group who was before going to win was involved in unfair means so they are dismissed from the competition. And another about the secretary post and the other two posts of the college election. And this was a historic decision made by the management ever. The notice had written that the winning party of the election was debarred from the college and as there is no time to arrange another election the opposition party is declared as the new winning party. And the second one became the most awaited news for the supporters of the Machhar party. All the students except some third years are so happy that they started a procession arranged by themselves a grand celebration made that day.

And one other notice was also released; 

It has written Rahul's name and his all academic identity and declared him dismissed from his class till the year's end and from the election till the course of engineering ends.

The Machhar party and their supporters are celebrating their winning a winning which was fair by all means and will be an epitome for all other colleges ever.
