''Family'' this very word describes people who are mostly related by blood, who live under a common roof, sharing their life. After the person with whom we are married and their blood relatives. But if we think deeply is this true that only blood relatives are called family? Maybe the answer will be no. Cause many people in the world have no blood relations, basically we call them orphans.

This story is all about a woman who is neither an orphan nor alone, but still never belonged to a family.

The story is about Sita, a woman probably in her early thirties. Belongs to a typical conservative middle-class family. Sita s a shy personality, is polite, and has good manners-a good egg. Her parents say in real she is like Sita mata. Very calm, kind-hearted, loving, and caring. They love her so much until she chooses her life partner on her own. Yes, Sita's marriage is not arranged by her parents. At the time of her college, she met Vikas, they are classmates. After some days they became very close and started to love each other. After completing college, her parents looked for a partner for her and Sita let them know that she is in love with Vikas.

Sita, who is a very good child to her parent is now thrown out of the home.

Because her father choose someone else for her and she denies it her parents just said be happy with your Vikas but not as our daughter. Since that there is no contact between Sita and her parents. She went to Vikas and they got married. After marriage, she has not had a fact like 'maayakaa'. The only family she has is that of Vikas. Days passed so as months. Conflicts started between the both of them, although it is very common in marital life. Whenever Sita got irritated by the taunts of her in-laws and complain to Vikas, he always reacted with the exact line, ''don't point the finger at my family.'' Sita got hurt badly by these words of his. She just says where is my family then? and cries a lot. Now she is sad....sad more than ever. Conflicts occurred more than before between Sita and Vikas. Her life just turned upside down, this is not the kind of life she had ever dreamed of.

Then she leaves Vikas and his family.

Now Sita is questioning her existence. She has nothing left to live with, she loses everything; her parents to be with Vikas, and now left Vikas for his parents. She is well educated so she is trying to do a job that can both give her earnings and a roof to live under. Struggling for survival one day she went to an orphanage. There is a post of a warden whose work is to be with the children, tuition them, and take good care of them. They selected Sita for the post because of her personality and of course for her educational ability. She nurtures the children. By nature, as she is so caring the children of that orphanage never could feel that they are orphans. She turned into a motherlike figure for every one of them. The whole orphanage started to love her so much that Sita never goes outside of the campus. Sita is happy now; but.....in her deep inside, broken.

This is continued till her last breath. Just one question: Why has she suffered her whole life? As per societal views and a dictionary obviously, Sita has a family of two pare of parents and also a husband too, with whom she is in love. But where is her so-called family of the time of her sufferings, her pains?

This story is not only of one Sita. The story is about many other Indian girls, who belong to such a typical conservative society, although their stories vary in one way or the other. Even our Sita maa(wife of pravu Shree Ram) is also confronted this kind of situation.

Many people believe, 'family is the biggest support system.'

But in case of like Sita.....

Really! should we call this "family"?
