WHEN THEY IS LOVE

Once upon a time, in the land far away was a young man named Uto in the land of Turi. It was time for what has always been done to be done, Uto the warrior of Turi was about to begin the life of a man, rose his wife to be which he cannot trade for anything came visiting, for she was ready to be a wife. She couldn't stop asking Uto to pay her bride price for she wasn't getting any younger, she wanted to carry her own children and was ready to start the life of womanhood.

In the land of Turi, it was the season of the year to carry out a tradition called man maker. The journey was to go into the forest of Turi without taking anything, you are to provide for yourself and survive for three days, avoid temptation and take nothing from anybody, if return alive, you can take a wife.

Uto, the brave warrior of Turi started was ready to start life. He begin the journey of manmaker in the forest of Turi, he was to provide for himself, for he was very hungry, he had nothing since he started. He traveled deeper into the forest, he was tired and was hungry and thirsty, suddenly he saw a beautiful young maiden who was with water and food, she said

Young man, look here I have something for you, I know you are hungry and thirsty, have something to eat.

No.

Said Uto.

I'm fine, I don't need any of your food neither water, for I don't even know you, who are you if I may ask?.

I'm nkechi the maiden of Turi.

Said the maiden.

I'm here to give you something to eat, I know you are hungry.

Uto bent down to throw her sand, but she vanish.

In the morning, the second day of the journey,Uto found a fig tree with fig in it, he said

Thanks the gods of our land for you won't allow me to perish.

He has something to eat and store some, there beside him was a beautiful young maiden, who if not with strong discipline, one will fall into her trap, she said to him, I know how you may have missed your people, I have come to keep you company and to satisfy you, follow me and late me make you man

No.

Said Uto

I'm a great warrior of Turi, a man of great integrity and value, I can never follow you to where ever you are going, leave now or you will not leave alive.

He bent down a throw her sand, she vanishes he continues his journey till twilight, and he slept.

The third day, the last day, he was towards the North, he was about heading towards a tree, an old woman appear clothes in black and with a sword, saying

I'm the great woman of the forest, you can't come to my kingdom and return alive, you shall die, you shall die, you shall die.

I'm Uto the great warrior of Turi, the warrior with the sword of the gods, leave or you will never live to see the next sunset.

He brought out his sword and killed her, she died and vanish into the soil.

The next day, at noon in Turi, everybody was excited for the return of Uto, for his braveness his has proven to the people of Turi.

The next four market days, Uto took rose as his wife, the celebration went on for the great achievement.
