When I saw You

He goes into the wild,

Chasing butterflies like a child.

She hides behind the tree,

Beyond what people see.

He sees her there in one glance,

While she does her carefree dance.

He feels his heart has been bewitched,

While she is elated.

As she finally got noticed,

But why was ‘She’ the one he picked?

Her eyes remind him of Sunshine,

And her smile is divine.

  

Her mind warns her,

He might be a mere wanderer.

 “No one loves you”, it says.

No, not this time”, she exhales.

As her heart is in a different place.

He approaches her,

And holds her hand,

She gazes at him,

“Take me to a different land.” 

She stares at the sky,

“Come, let us fly.”

Aw, they make the universe cry.

She was 

The wild he chased all this while.

In a world full of fondness,

They live happily on an isle.
